Pumpkin Jack Welcomes You!
Pumpkin Jack is all about carving pumpkins. I have patterns, instructions, anecdotes, carving galleries and even Halloween stories. Come in and stay a while. Please return often.
The majority of the patterns on this site are quiet complex and require hours of time to complete. If you find them to be intimidating or, perhaps, you would like a little practice first before tackling them, you might wish to attempt some more traditional patterns here, some Halloween images here or my extensive collection of smiley face patterns here.

Pattern of the Month - SeptemberSeptember has arrived and, while summer still hold sway, there is the occasional chill in the air to let us know that Fall is on its way. And one of my favourite days is coming. The Day After Remembrance Day for Halloween Day (September 18th) is on its way. I've always felt it to be disrespectful to begin into Christmas until November the 11th has passed. So the thought occurred to me to discover the identical earliest day possible to begin Halloween, not that I don't have something going for longer. That day is September the 18th. So watch a scary movie and, maybe, bring out a decoration or two. You know you want to...
Now for the pattern of the month. Sticking to Once Upon a Time, we have Robert Carlyle's Rumpelstiltskin. I've long considered this character to be a highlight for the series. There's the obviously and gleefully evil Rumpelstitskin from the enchanted forest days and the much more subtle Mr. Gold from Storybrook. This is the kind of villain that you enjoy watching. So, for your pleasure, here is a mockup of Rumpelstiltskin.
