Pumpkin Jack Welcomes You!

Pumpkin Jack is all about carving pumpkins. I have patterns, instructions, anecdotes, carving galleries and even Halloween stories. Come in and stay a while. Please return often.

The majority of the patterns on this site are quiet complex and require hours of time to complete. If you find them to be intimidating or, perhaps, you would like a little practice first before tackling them, you might wish to attempt some more traditional patterns here, some Halloween images here or my extensive collection of smiley face patterns here.

Number of patterns so far: 1457.5

Pattern of the Month - July

Welcome to July! We are truly into summer now. Things planted a couple of months ago should be truly growing now. Flowers have bloomed everywhere giving us a wealth of colour!

The 1920s and 1930s were times of amazing wealth and poverty, not just for Canada, but for the world. Three men led the nation during these times. One was the enduring William Lyon Mackenzie King who was Prime Minister off and on for 3 decades (20s, 30s and 40s). When this man was not busy leading, Arthur Meighen (1920-21 and 1926) and Richard Bedford Bennett (1930-35) took their turns as PM.

Arthur Meighen - 9th Prime Minister

Richard Bedford Bennett - 11th Prime Minister
