Darth Vader

Darth Vader is the central antagonist in George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy and his final prequel, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. In the original Star Wars trilogy, Vader is embodied by David Prowse, though Sebastian Shaw makes a brief cameo as the unmasked Vader in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Vader is played by Hayden Christensen. In the original trilogy and Episode III, James Earl Jones provides Vader's voice when he is masked, although Jones was uncredited for this role.

Princess Leia Organa

Princess Leia Organa is one of the main protagonists of the original Star Wars trilogy. In Return of the Jedi, it is revealed that she is the twin sister of Luke Skywalker, and thus the daughter of Darth Vader. In the Star Wars prequel films, her mother is identified as Padmé Amidala. Her adoptive father is Bail Organa, the head of Alderaan's royal family and a supporting character in the prequels; in later Star Wars literature she marries Han Solo, her romantic interest in the original films.

Han Solo

Actor: Harrison Ford

Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, is a fictional smuggler and "reckless mercenary" in the Star Wars franchise. Introduced in the film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977), Solo and his Wookiee first mate, Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), become involved in the Rebel Alliance against the authoritarian Galactic Empire. Over the course of the Star Wars franchise, Solo becomes a chief figure in the Alliance and succeeding galactic governments. Star Wars creator George Lucas described Solo as "a loner who realizes the importance of being part of a group and helping for the common good." The American Film Institute ranked Solo as the 14th greatest film hero. Solo was also deemed the 4th greatest movie character of all-time by Empire magazine.

Actor: Frank Oz

Yoda is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe, appearing in the three prequel trilogy films as well as the second and third original films. Yoda made his first on screen appearance in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back where he is responsible for training Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Jedi. His final chronological appearance is Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, when he dies around 900 years old. He also appears extensively in the two animated Clone Wars series, as well as the Star Wars "Expanded Universe" of novels and comic books.

Actor: Anthony Daniels

C-3PO is a character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in both the original Star Wars films and the prequel trilogy. He is also a major character in the television show Droids, and appears frequently in the series' "Expanded Universe" of novels, comic books, and video games. C-3PO is one of the four characters to appear in all six of the Star Wars feature films, and one of only two characters portrayed by the same actor in all six installments of the series (the other being Kenny Baker as R2-D2). In all his various appearances, he is portrayed by Anthony Daniels.

C-3PO is a protocol droid designed to serve humans, and boasts that he is fluent "in over six million forms of communication." C-3PO is generally seen with his long-time counterpart, R2-D2, a small, quirky droid. Threepio's main function as a protocol droid is to assist with etiquette, customs, and translation so that meetings of different cultures run smoothly. Along side of the astromech droid R2-D2, Threepio played a vital and pivotal role in the Galaxy's history.

Palpatine is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Star Wars saga.

In the original trilogy, he appears as the Emperor of the Galactic Empire where he is an aged, pale-faced figure who is clad in dark robes. He oversees the Galactic Civil War's final stages between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, in which he is ultimately defeated and killed.

In the prequel trilogy, he is a middle-aged politician of the Galactic Republic who rises to power through deception and treachery who ultimately destroys the Jedi and the Republic, allowing him to convert the Republic into a brutal totalitarian regime.

Lando Calrissian is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. He is portrayed by Billy Dee Williams in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He also appears frequently in the Star Wars "Expanded Universe" of novels, comic books and video games, including a series of novels in which he is the primary protagonist.
